Cancellation Policy.
Learn how to cancel, downgrade, or temporarily pause your Veranet operator plan, export voucher logs, and understand router token revocation timelines.
1. Self-Service Operator Cancellation
You may cancel your Veranet SaaS subscription at any time with zero long-term lock-in or cancellation penalties.
To cancel your subscription directly from your operator dashboard:
- Log in to your Veranet Dashboard at app.veranet.online.
- Navigate to Settings → Billing & Subscription.
- Click "Cancel Plan" and complete the brief confirmation prompt.
Upon completion, an automated cancellation confirmation timestamp will be emailed to your registered administrative address.
2. Access Retention Until Billing Cycle Concludes
When you cancel an active monthly or annual plan, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current prepaid billing cycle.
During this remaining period, all cloud captive portals, RADIUS authentication servers, automated voucher generation tools, and API webhook integrations will continue to function without interruption. No further recurring charges will be made to your payment card.
3. Router Token Deactivation & Captive Portal Impact
Once your paid billing cycle reaches its final expiration timestamp:
- Cloud RADIUS Endpoints: Edge authentication requests from your physical routers (MikroTik, OpenWrt, etc.) will no longer be processed by our cloud AAA cluster.
- Hosted Captive Portal Pages: Your branded splash pages will display a standard "Portal Suspended" notification unless your account is downgraded to the Free Starter tier (supporting up to 25 vouchers/mo).
- Active Wi-Fi Subscribers: Edge routers configured with local fallback caching will allow currently connected sessions to expire naturally.
4. 30-Day Data Export Grace Period
Your account enters a thirty (30) calendar day read-only grace period. During this window, you can log in to export your voucher generation CSVs, bandwidth audit reports, revenue statements, and customer phone rosters. Following 30 days of inactivity, database tables are permanently sanitized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Temporary Seasonal Pausing vs. Downgrading
For seasonal venue operators (such as summer beach resorts, student hostels during semester breaks, or festival venues), you may choose to downgrade to the Free Starter tier or request a temporary account freeze instead of outright account termination:
- Free Starter Tier: Retains all custom branding settings and venue router scripts while lowering active token quotas.
- Account Freeze: Contact our team to preserve enterprise RADIUS bindings for up to 90 days with zero recurring charges.
6. Annual Enterprise Contracts
For enterprise customers operating multi-router networks under custom Master Service Agreements (MSAs), cancellation requires written notification thirty (30) days prior to the annual renewal date to enterprise@veranet.online. Early termination refunds are subject to the terms stipulated in our Refund Policy.
7. Simple One-Click Account Reactivation
If you wish to resume your captive portal operations within the 30-day grace period, simply log into the dashboard, select your desired tier under Settings → Billing, and re-authorize your payment card. All custom captive portal themes, MikroTik scripts, and RADIUS secrets will instantly re-synchronize.
